Adult Services
Adult & Family Support Services
Glass City Behavioral Health provides comprehensive, adult-focused behavioral health and community-based support services designed to promote stability, wellness, and independence. Services are personalized, practical, and responsive to real-life needs. While the primary focus is adults, we recognize the importance of family, work, and community connections in long-term success.
Individual Counseling
Confidential one-on-one counseling for adults addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, and other life
challenges. Sessions focus on emotional support, coping strategies, goal development, and personal growth.
Group Therapy & Support Groups
Facilitated group and peer-support settings that provide safe spaces for adults to share experiences, strengthen coping skills, manage stress, set goals, and build healthy support networks.
Case Management & Resource Coordination
Assistance connecting adults to food access, hygiene supplies, housing referrals, supportive housing programs, utility assistance, transportation, employment resources, healthcare services, and community programs. Staff support navigation of housing systems and coordination with housing providers when available.
Advocacy & System Navigation
Support ensuring client rights are respected while navigating healthcare systems, public benefits, housing applications (including HUD and supportive housing programs), employment services, and other community resources. Staff assist with understanding eligibility requirements and completing application steps.
Life Skills Training
Skill-building support focused on budgeting, money management, basic cooking and nutrition, communication skills, problem-solving, time management, and guidance toward continuing education or vocational opportunities.
Adult Wellness, Social & Recreational Opportunities
Opportunities to participate in community events, wellness activities, fitness programs, and nutrition education designed to reduce isolation, build routine, support physical health, and encourage positive social engagement.
Community Calendar
A monthly community calendar highlights adult services, therapy groups, food and hygiene pantry dates, wellness
activities, community outings, and appointment-based supports. Text-friendly versions are available to help adults stay informed and engaged.
Our Approach
Services are adult-centered, flexible, and strengths-based, with an emphasis on ongoing guidance, practical support,
progress, stability, and long-term independence.
Housing placement is not guaranteed; referrals and supportive housing connections are based on availability, eligibility, and program capacity.
